OK2BME is a set of free, supportive services for 2SLGBTQIA+ identified children, teens and their families in Waterloo Region. The Rainbow Youth Program works to make lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, 2-spirit, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth feel safe, included, and empowered in Peterborough and the four counties. We give LGBTQ+ youth the space to be themselves and the tools to lead positive change in their schools, peer groups, and community.

The Ten Oaks Project is a charitable, volunteer-driven organization that engages and connects children and youth from 2SLGBTQ+ (two spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer) identities, families, and communities.

The Triangle Program is a high school that hosts wonderful LGBTQ2+ youth who are in need of a smaller and safer space where they can find and build community. We strive to reflect our students’ experiences in an LGBTQ2+ and social justice-focused curriculum.

ACAS’ Youth Program for East and Southeast Asians aged 16-29 strives to increase education, opportunities, support and resiliency skills (being able to bounce back from adversity) for Asian youth in Toronto in dealing with the various social/health challenges and questions of being LGBTQ+ and of other genders or sexualities.

Waterloo Region Rainbow Coalition (WRRC) is a volunteer-based community organization that is committed to building a unified voice for gender and sexual diversity for people of all ages in Waterloo Region. We promote sustainable opportunities for advocacy, awareness, education and community-building that are respectful of the diverse interests within the Rainbow community.

ACCKWA’s Youth Sexual Health Department offers education and outreach services to youth in Waterloo Region. Our programming aims to empower youth to manage their sexual health by developing skills, increasing self-efficacy, and improving access to resources. We provide free workshops for youth as well as for parents, educators, and service providers who work with youth. We also do one-on-one risk reduction counseling, and outreach at local events, on social media, and via text.

2 Spirits in Motion Society works to create, maintain, and strengthen a safe and supportive environment for 2 Spirit people to express themselves through cultural ways of knowing and being around gender and sexuality; and to succeed and be empowered in all areas that are grounded in the medicines that 2 Spirit people carry.

2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations provides prevention education and support for 2-Spirit, including First Nations, metis and Inuit people living with or at risk for HIV and related co-infections in the Greater Toronto Area. They base their work on indigenous philosophies of wholistic health and wellness.
