It Gets Better Canada envisions a day when no young person in Canada feels marginalized, isolated, excluded or rejected because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We are looking for qualified and committed candidates to help further the impact of our cause.
As a member of one of our Committees, you will engage in key discussions, strategy, and development of best practices at It Gets Better Canada.

You are encouraged to apply to the Committee that you believe your skills will best support. Committees include:
Fundraising – The Fundraising Committee creates, directs and monitors a comprehensive and tactical fundraising plan for operational revenue generation.
Marketing – The Marketing Committee provides assistance and expertise in the development and implementation of effective marketing and communications plans for IGBC in support of the charity’s goals and objectives and to oversee successful IGBC initiatives.
Nominating -The Nominating Committee develops policies, and formulate criteria for determining Board Director and Committee member qualifications, required skills and representation of the diversity of the charity’s served community.
Programs -The Programs Committee charts the direction and future of IGBC’s charitable activities, and assist the Board in developing, implementing, and sustaining a long-term focus that supports the values, mission and goals of the charity.
Expect to volunteer 2-3 hours a month.
Committees meet monthly, approximately 10 times a year.
