The Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project (NSRAP) seeks equity, justice, and human rights for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Nova Scotia. We will achieve this through building community and developing strong networks outside of the community in addition to public outreach, education, and political action.

The mission of Halifax Sexual Health Centre is to improve and optimize the sexual health of all members of our community, by providing high quality and caring services, and empowering clients to make healthy choices. HSHC can help with any aspect of a person’s transition, including the MSI approval process and surgical arrangements.

Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance are a group of volunteers, researchers, academics, knowledge holders, youth and Elders Wabanaki Two-Spirits and Allies (directly related to W2SA interests). They represent the emotional, spiritual, mental and physical well-being and interests of Two Spirits and Indigenous LGBTQ+ individuals and groups in Wabanaki Territory (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland/Labrador, Gaspé region of Quebec, and Maine (northern areas in Passamaquoddy and Penobscot Tribal territories) based on our beliefs and values in the framework within the Peace and Friendship Treaty.

The Youth Project is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing support and services to youth, 25 and under, around issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. They provide a variety of programs and services including support groups, referrals, supportive counselling, a resource library, educational workshops, social activities.
