Since 2016, It Gets Better Canada (IGBC) has been working to uplift and empower 2SLGBTQI+ youth from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

While our organization’s impact and reach across Canada is stronger than ever, the demand for our support is rising. Queer youth are facing serious threats to their daily rights as well as access to safe and affirming spaces and communities. It Gets Better Canada continues to rise to the challenge like never before – and this is just the beginning!

To celebrate 10 years of impact, It Gets Better Canada is setting its boldest goal yet: directly supporting 10,000 2SLGBTQI+ youth across Canada by the end of 2027.

Building on a decade of national reach, this milestone is about deepening our impact. Every one of the 10,000 youth we aim to support represents a meaningful moment where a young person feels seen, connected, empowered, or reminded that they belong. For many 2SLGBTQI+ youth, one affirming experience can change the course of a life.
